Charlotte Clutterbuck announces BIRD CONNECTIONS EXHIBITION

‘I’ve half-crossed where I shouldn’t have into your bird-world’

‘Pelicans have arrived for the fish muster…’ ‘filling the sky with feathered motion’

Established and emerging, old and young, local and interstate artists collaborate in response to the diversity of birds, from the perky Wagtail to the eerie Bush Stone-Curlew. The artists: sculptor Alex Asch; animators Lucinda Clutterbuck and Sal Cooper; singer-songwriter Joce Moen: visual artists Tara Badcock, Suzanne Clutterbuck, Victoria Clutterbuck, Thomas Bonin and Milena McLellan; kinetic sculptors Lewis Argall and Nikola Malbasic; poets Susan Hampton and Charlotte Clutterbuck; poet-artists Kit Kelen and Dael Allison; essayist Barbara Holloway; Eva Culek.

Opening Night:
Launch of ‘Poems for Birds’ Poems on Cards illustrated by Studio Connect Canberra.
Animation Installation, Readings, Exhibition, Performance. Special Guests: Voila French Choir.
Wednesday 28th September 2016, 6.00-8.30 pm

Piccolo Films: Eclectic Bird Connections Experimental Film Night.
8 extraordinary films in the presence of the artists. Special guests: Garden Street Boys and Rob Hirst.
Thursday 29th September 2016, 6.00 pm for screening at 7 pm.

The Agar Dish Bird Edition: An evening of live, interactive and performative art, Wednesday 5th October 2016, 6pm.
