In August 2016 her short story Prelude to the Dawn was published in Backstory journal. In November 2016 Arianne was awarded a place in the Varuna Short Story Focus week facilitated by Tegan Bennett Daylight, an experience she will never forget. Arianne is currently an intern at The Tasmanian Writers Centre and is studying Psychology and Creative Writing at university. She has also recently become a sub-editor of of Platform Youth Arts and Culture magazine. Arianne dreams of publishing collections of her short stories and a novel (or three) in the not too distant future.
