Jarrah Dundler lives in his hometown of Kyogle, NSW, and works in nearby Lismore as a mental health worker. Jarrah’s short stories have been published in fourW and his debut novel Hey Brother, a coming-of-age story that tackles family dysfunction, mental illness and substance abuse, was shortlisted for The Australian/Vogel Literary Award. Hey Brother has been described as ‘a moving paen to enduring love’ (The Australian), ‘astute and deeply moving’ (Tasmanian Mercury) and ‘fast, funny and heart-wrenching’ (The northerly magazine).
