PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
For more than three decades, Varuna the National Writers’ Househas nurtured Australia’s literary culture, offering time, space and inspiration to generations of writers whose stories have shaped our national imagination.
In July 2026, we are opening a new community building in the gardens of Varuna, and we are looking for a new Digital Marketing Coordinator to continue promoting our existing program of residencies and masterclasses, while supporting the launch of a new public program, comprised of courses, workshops, literary salons and events.
Reporting to the Marketing and Business Manager, with direction and oversight from the Creative Director, this role is responsible for applying the organisational brand across digital channels, and for marketing Varuna’s programs, including residencies, fellowships, workshops, courses and events.
This is a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension dependent on funding.
