Farewell Jaala
Yesterday, we said goodbye to our wonderful Residency Producer Jaala Hallett, as she departs Varuna and sets off for travels around the world. Jaala has been working at Varuna for three years, and has made incredible contributions to the organisation, supporting the writers who come here with respect, consideration, humour and warmth. Jaala, thank you for your courage and honesty, the energy and enthusiasm you dedicated to bushcare, the Festival and the Red Room Poetry Fellowship, and for all the good vibes you brought to the office. Best of luck for your next adventure!
