We have recently formalised our commitment to reconciliation through the development of Varuna’s inaugural Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).

Varuna is delighted to announce the Pitch Me! program, creating new opportunities for Australian writers to connect with industry-leading agents and publishers.

We have been excited to launch a new Fellowship this month, with a focus on stories and writers from Western Sydney.

The Western Sydney Intensive is a fortnight-long writing intensive program offerering recipients focused writing support, reading sessions and feedback

Congratulations to the writers who have been awarded a Varuna Residential Fellowship for 2022.

We believe the experience of Varuna should be available to every writer. Our Equity Access Fund will allow Varuna to reserve dedicated funds for writers who otherwise could not access Varuna's programs.
